Do you know it when you have feeling inside you, but you don't know what to do with it? When something is bothering you deep inside and you don't know what it is? Or you are stuck in a certain emotional state and can't go on but you don't know why?

Well, I know this very well. And when this happens I write music which helps me. Music to support me with inner processes. Music that helps me to go deep inside me and solves my problems. This is subconsciousmind (SCM) music!

From feedback I learned, that my music does by far not only help me, but also many others. It seems, that the way I dig out things from my unconscious and I handle feelings in my songs is somehow universal.

But, it is not always easy. Some things are hidden deep inside us for a reason, and when my music starts digging them out many persons block it. Maybe because they don't want it to happen at this time, are afraid or do not trust the music enough to let it go this deep inside them. Anyway, this music is for people with open hearts, for people interested in confrontation with themselves, for people willing to see things they didn't expect.

SCM music is very personal and open. You can find out a lot about me through my music, but just as it is possible to get to know yourself through the encounter with other people you can get to know yourself with the encounter with my music. I write in the "I" from because I find it important to keep it all personal. Also this website.

A subconsciousmind song is not FullOn, nor Progressive, nor Dark or whatever new subgenre is invented. A subconsciousmind song probably can be described as emotional and psychedelic, but actually I prefer to leave it completely open. Some songs may be put into a certain style drawer, others not. Styles are bound to time, but I want the music to be timeless, universal never old, never new. For me It's only about the effect of the music.

"Style", "Genre" thinking with music just keeps people from listening to music without predjustice. Categorizing music is just the same as categorizing people by surfacial factors. Like generally liking people from one country or scene more than from another. Any song in any genre can have any effect, message. Any song in any genre can be emotional or not, honest or not, psychedelic or not, sad or happy or whatever and therefore has to be contemplated as unique without any prejustice just as every human being has to be.

If one defines his musical taste via a genre it is the same thinking patterns as if you were defining your friends via their nationality. One should try to find out what effect, what interaction he likes music to have and then look for songs working for him.

Many PsyTrance artist's songs can, to a big part, be recognized by the style and the use of specific sounds. A subconsciousmind song maybe can be better recognized by a certain language, by the way the story is told, a certain "emotional accuracy" or by its mostly emotionally intenseness.

In terms of sounddesign and use of sounds I'm probably a kind of "chameleon" and also a "collecting point" for neglected sounds nobody else uses. I somehow find beauty in every sound and this probably makes sound my music weird for some. ;)

I was and am working on other projects. Namly these are:

Eumelos; which was together with Christian Rupp aka "Psylence". Unfortunately we stopped the project due to personal differences about what music and actually everything should be for us or not.

Jenseiz Art; Judith Zimmermann (violin), Andrea Pfeifer (vocals), Andi Luchsinger (guitar). Actually we all would love to work more together, but Judith and Andi live quite far away from the fiin world soundlabs and have quite a full schedule. Hopefully we will have more time together.

And of course I had various collaborations with other artists. Most recently with "Human" and Andrea Pfeifer aka "shmau".
